NewsFlash! EB2 India Retrogresses to ’05 in Nov 2014 Visa Bulletin

Today, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) issued the November 2014 Visa Bulletin. Unfortunately, as expected, the employment-based, second preference (EB2) category for people born in India retrogresses by more than four years, to February 15, 2005. The employment-based, third preference (EB3) category, on the other hand, moves forward across the board. EB3 India inches forward to November 22, 2003, EB3 China advances to January 1, 2010, and EB3 for all other countries of chargeability moves up to June 1, 2012. MurthyDotCom will post a more thorough summary and analysis of the November Visa Bulletin in the near future. Subscribe to the MurthyBulletin to receive free updates on visa bulletin movements, and other immigration-related topics.
