NewsFlash! OMB Clears STEM OPT Rule for Publication in Fed Register

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has completed its review of the proposed rule on STEM optional practical training (OPT). In the near future, it is very likely that the rule will be published in the federal register and stakeholders will be given at least 30 days to submit written comments to be considered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). MurthyDotCom will provide additional details regarding the proposed STEM OPT rule as soon as it is published in the federal register.
