NewsFlash! I-485 Applicants Must Use Final Action Dates for EB Cases in December

For the December 2015 Visa Bulletin, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is limiting the filing of adjustment of status applications (form I-485s) to the cutoff dates listed in final action (FA) chart for all employment-based (EB) cases. For family-based (FB) cases, the more-favorable dates for filing (DF) chart can be used.

As previously discussed, each month, the USCIS updates a designated webpage within one week of the release of the visa bulletin to indicate whether the DF chart may be used as a basis to file an I-485 application.
