Assistant Managing Attorney Aron Finkelstein
Aron A. Finkelstein is the Assistant Managing Attorney at the Murthy Law
Firm. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the
University of Maryland and completed his law degree at the University of
Baltimore.
Attorney Finkelstein began working in the field of immigration law while
clerking at a downtown Baltimore law firm in 1995. During his tenure there,
he worked as an intern for the Immigration Court in Baltimore City and for
the Circuit Court of Baltimore County. He is an active member in the
Technology Council of Maryland and the American Immigration Lawyers
Association (AILA). He joined AILA in 1997, where he has served as a
Co-Liaison to the State of Maryland Department of Labor, the Maryland
Driver's License Committee, the Federal Department of Labor Committee for
Region II, the AILA Congressional Committee, the Vice Chair for the
Education Committee, the Chair of the DC Chapter- AILA Department of Labor
Committee, and other committees over the years, including as a member of the
AILA DC Chapter Executive Committee. Attorney Finkelstein's talents and
skills at the Murthy Law Firm are focused exclusively on the practice of
U.S. immigration law and in assisting Attorney Sheela Murthy in the
management of our firm.
Attorney Finkelstein has been awarded the "high to very high" rating for
legal ability and "very high" for General Ethical Standards from
Martindale-Hubbell. This prestigious award represents a
level of ability acknowledged by his peers and signifies his professional
ethics and conduct in caring for clients of the Murthy Law Firm.
Attorney Finkelstein is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the United
States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Supreme Court of

Senior Attorney Dana Delott
Attorney Dana Delott earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan
State University, East Lansing, Michigan, with a dual major in
multi- disciplinary studies and political science in 1984. She earned her law
degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1988.
She has been practicing immigration law in the D.C. / Baltimore area since
1993 and joined the Murthy Law Firm in 2001. Her experience in
the field of immigration and nationality law is broad, both in
terms of clientele and practice areas. Her clients have come from every
continent and have included a full range, from multi-national corporations
to start-up companies and individuals from all educational and cultural
backgrounds. Her experience includes business- and family-based immigration,
citizenship, asylum, removal (formerly deportation) and waivers.
Attorney Delott was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1988 and the District of
Columbia Bar in 1989.
Attorney Delott came to the practice of immigration law after work in a
corporate law environment in the areas of legislative and antitrust. She
selected this area of law practice as one that allows for
assisting individuals without causing harm to others. She enjoys the
diversity of the clients, the complexity of the law and the ever-changing
nature of the practice area. She derives particular satisfaction from
reuniting families and enabling worthy individuals to achieve their dreams.

Attorney
Adam Rosen
Attorney Adam Rosen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
and History from Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York. He earned
his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, in
Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Managing Editor for
Health Matrix : Journal of Law-Medicine.
Mr. Rosen began working in the field of immigration law as a law clerk in a
private law practice in New York City. Upon admission to the bar,
he remained in New York with a small law firm to practice immigration law.
Attorney Rosen has represented clients applying for nonimmigrant visas and
permanent residence. He is a member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association,
and Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Rosen also worked as law
clerk for New York City’s Department of Homeless Services. He
is admitted to the New York and Maryland Bars.
Attorney Rosen entered the immigration law field to pursue his interest in
assisting individuals in the critical and complex legal matters affecting
their lives and understanding that immigration is the United States'
foundation as a successful nation, able to draw on the contributions of its
people.

Attorney Derek
Sewall
Attorney
Derek Sewall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Latin
American studies from Brown University in 1993. He earned his law degree
from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998. Before joining the Murthy
Law Firm in 2005, Attorney Sewall practiced corporate immigration law
with a prominent immigration law firm in California, where he represented
hi-tech companies in Silicon
Valley.
Before practicing immigration law in
California, Mr. Sewall was an attorney with the largest law firm in El Paso,
Texas, where he routinely represented clients before the U.S. Consulate in
Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He has extensive experience with all types of
immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. He contributed to the 2002-2003 edition of
the AILA Visa Processing Guide.
Attorney Sewall is admitted to the Maryland Bar and is a member of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is fluent in Spanish.

Attorney Jonelle
Ocloo
Attorney Jonelle Ocloo did her undergraduate studies at the College of
William and Mary where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's
degree in International Relations. She earned her Juris Doctor from Yale Law
School. While at Yale Law School, Attorney Ocloo was a student advocate in
the Pro Bono Immigration Law Clinic and represented clients at asylum
hearings.
Prior to joining the Murthy Law Firm, Attorney Ocloo worked for a law firm
where she handled a variety of immigration matters including family-based,
adjustment of status, and naturalization cases. She studied and worked in
Japan for three years.
Attorney Ocloo is admitted to the Maryland Bar and the District of Columbia
Bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s International Law
Section, and the Organization of Women in International Trade (WIIT).
Attorney Ocloo’s interest in immigration law stems from her personal
experience as an immigrant from Ghana. She realizes the important role
global migration plays in international trade and economic development. She
loves the practice of immigration law because she is able to help
individuals and families realize their dreams, while also making a positive
impact on various communities that benefit from the infusion of new talent
and cultural diversity.
Ms. Ocloo speaks Japanese and is fluent in Ga, a native language of Ghana.

Attorney John Bails
Attorney Bails earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, as well
as his law degree from
Michigan State University, in
East Lansing, Michigan. He is admitted to the Michigan Bar.
Mr. Bails worked as a law clerk for a private law firm in
Lansing, Michigan throughout his undergraduate and law
studies. Upon admission to the bar, he remained with the firm as an
associate for a short period before being appointed to the U.S. Foreign Service. Mr. Bails was
assigned as Vice Consul and Third Secretary to the U.S. Embassy in Kingston,
Jamaica. He also
temporarily served at the U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Bails later
returned for a training assignment at the National Foreign Affairs Training
Center in Arlington, Virginia, where he studied Eastern European
affairs, as well as the Romanian language.
Attorney Bails gained interest in immigration law while serving abroad as a
consular officer. He obtained a unique perspective as he worked on the U.S.
Government side of the immigration process, and understands the challenges
individuals often face while pursuing their hopes of visiting, working, or
living in the United States. He
has also seen first hand the beneficial cultural and economic significance
of immigration policy with regard to the U.S., developing nations,
and families.

Attorney Anna Stepanova
Attorney Stepanova received her Juris Doctor degree with special honors from
the University of Iowa. She previously obtained two Bachelor of Arts
degrees, one in Russia and another from the University of Iowa. She also
earned a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics from the University of Iowa.
While at the University of Iowa Law School, Attorney Stepanova represented
clients in immigration proceedings and at asylum hearings.
Prior to joining the Murthy Law Firm, Attorney Stepanova was a founding
partner of an immigration law firm in Iowa where she handled a variety of
immigration matters, including employment- and family-based cases, as well
as the areas of adjustment of status and naturalization.
Attorney Stepanova is admitted to the Iowa Bar and she is a member of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Attorney Stepanova’s interest in immigration law stems from her own
experience as an immigrant from Russia. Attorney Stepanova arrived as a
visitor, changed to student status, worked as an H1B professional, and
obtained permanent residency (her “green card”) through the National
Interest Waiver process. Ms. Stepanova is fluent in Russian.

Attorney Pamela Genise
Pamela Genise earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke
College and her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law
School. During Law School, Ms. Genise was a student advocate in the Domestic
Violence Clinic and focused her studies on international and family law. Ms.
Genise was able to combine those two passions in the field of immigration
law, which she enjoys because it allows her to mix complex problem solving
with the opportunity to actively help people.
Prior to joining the Murthy Law Firm, Ms. Genise worked for a Washington
D.C. law firm, where she handled a variety of immigration matters, including
nonimmigrant work visas, employment-based cases (extraordinary ability,
national interest waiver, multinational executive / manager transfers, and
labor certifications), family-based cases, adjustment of status, and
naturalization, as well as asylum and removal hearings.
Ms. Genise is a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Attorney Peta-Gaye Ricketts
Attorney Ricketts earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International
Studies from Macalester College, where she graduated cum laude. She
holds a Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at American
University as well as a Master of Arts (magna cum laude) from the
School of International Service, also at American University. During law
school, Ms. Ricketts was a student attorney in the International Human
Rights Law Clinic, where she assisted recent U.S. asylees in filing
derivative petitions and adjustment-of-status applications with the USCIS.
Prior to joining the Murthy Law Firm, Attorney Ricketts worked at a law
firm, where she handled a variety of immigration matters, including family-
and employment-based cases, as well as adjustment-of-status cases.
Attorney Ricketts’s interest in immigration law stems from her own
experience as an international student from Jamaica. She recalls the lengthy
process of gathering the relevant documentation for her interview at the
U.S. embassy and is aware of the frustrations that many visa applicants face
when they are denied visas for entry to the U.S. due, in large part, to
their unfamiliarity with U.S. immigration laws. She enjoys the practice of
immigration law because it gives her the opportunity to help others
successfully navigate the immigration system in their quest to realize their
dreams of coming to this country as visitors, students, workers, and
immigrants.
Attorney Ricketts is admitted to the Maryland Bar and is a member of the
Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is
proficient in Spanish.

Attorney Brian Green
Attorney Brian S.
Green earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science
from Washington & Jefferson College, in Washington, Pennsylvania. He earned
his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, in
Cleveland, Ohio, where he represented adults charged with criminal offenses
through the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic.
Mr. Green began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable
Ernest J. DiSantis, Jr., in the Erie County, Pennsylvania Court of Common
Pleas. He then gained extensive jury trial experience while serving as an
assistant public defender in Wheeling, West Virginia. Mr. Green next worked
as a civil litigator and immigration attorney at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
corporate law firm where he handled a variety of nonimmigrant, immigrant,
and naturalization matters. He has also advised criminal and civil law
attorneys on the immigration law ramifications of criminal convictions and
noncompliance with U.S. immigration and labor laws.
Mr. Green has
appeared in local, state, and federal courts in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West
Virginia, and Wisconsin. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and West
Virginia Bars, and is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association (AILA).
Mr. Green is often called
upon to speak on immigration law topics and is a frequent contributing
author to AILA’s bi-monthly magazine, Immigration Law
Today.
Attorney Green is proud of the United States' heritage of immigration,
opportunity, and diversity. He believes that he can contribute to the
success of our nation by facilitating the transition of immigrants and
nonimmigrants into our society.

Attorney Eunhae Gohng
Attorney Gohng earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology,
as well as her Master in Science degree in Special Education
from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Gohng earned
her law
degree from the Washington College of Law at American University in
Washington D.C. During law school, she worked as a law clerk at a
litigation firm in Washington, D.C. She was also a student attorney in the
International Human Rights Law Clinic, where she assisted asylees from
various countries.
Prior to joining the Murthy Law Firm, Ms. Gohng worked at a law firm in
Virginia, where she handled a variety of immigration matters, including
employment and family-based immigrant cases, nonimmigrant visa cases,
adjustment of status, and naturalization. She was also involved with the
firm’s pro bono work in assisting North Korean defectors seeking
refugee and asylee status. Attorney Gohng’s interest in immigration law
stems from her own experience as an international student from South Korea,
as well as her experience in working with
defectors
from North Korea. She realizes that, for many, securing legal immigration
status is closely connected to fundamental rights and safety of individuals.
Ms. Gohng enjoys the practice of immigration law because of its complex and
challenging nature and also because she is able to assist individuals and
families in establishing a foundation, in the form of legal immigration
status, upon which they can realize their dreams and goals in the United
States. She is admitted to the New York Bar, and she is fluent in Korean,
spoken and written.
