Call for Submissions!
The purpose of this philanthropic effort is to extend financial support to
worthy projects that will educate, influence, and/or act on behalf of
immigrants to the U.S. or to U.S. immigration.
Each submission should :
-
come from an individual of authority within
the nonprofit organization
-
come from a nonprofit organization located
within the United States
-
summarize the project and its purpose, and
explain the proposed use of the funds and the amount needed
More detailed information and a
project budget will be requested of proposals that are being considered
beyond this initial, submission stage.
Examples of immigration advocacy groups currently receiving our support, or
that have received support from us in the past, are :
American Immigration Law Foundation
MEDOVI Project of the Women's Law Center
Immigrants' List
The Murthy Law Firm and the MurthyFoundation also actively support other
social causes, such as
the Girl Scouts of Maryland and
the United Way, especially the Friends of India Project.
