Upcoming Holiday Schedule for Chennai Consulate

For all persons who plan on traveling to India and obtaining a visa for reentry to the U.S., we wish to advise that the consulate in Chennai will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2001. They were also closed on December 17, 2001. This year Christmas Eve and Christmas day, December 24 and 25, are both Federal holidays and government offices will be closed. Travelers to other parts of the world should check with the particular consulates to determine holiday schedules.
