NSC Processing H1B Cases with Jan 11, 2000 Receipt Notice Date

The Nebraska Service Center has recently informed the American Immigration Lawyers Association that as of March 8, 2000, all H1B cases (both cap and non-cap) that bear Receipt Notice dates of January 11, 2000 or earlier have been distributed to adjudication officers for processing. This update gives some indication as to current processing times. At present all Service Centers are taking about 8 to 11 weeks to process H1B cases.
