H1B Advanced Degree Cap Almost Reached

The USCIS released an updated count of the Advanced Degree H1B filings for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006. As of January 10, 2006, fewer than 400 of the original 20,000 Advanced Degree numbers remained. This means that the numbers will not last much longer. We expect that the next announcement about this count will be that the numbers have all been used. This could come within days.
