As reported to our readers on June 20, 2008, the Murthy Law Firm is a proud sponsor of the upcoming conference of the American Telugu Association (ATA) in Newark, NJ over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The ATA is a national association of various organizations of Telugu people in the United States and was founded to preserve and promote Telugu culture among immigrants in this country. The purpose of the convention is to bring together nearly 15,000 Telugu-speaking people from all across America to meet, learn, exchange ideas, enjoy exceptional cultural programs, and pay homage to the great Telugu culture. [Telugu is a Dravidian language, spoken mostly in Andhra Pradesh and several other states in southern India.]

We at the Murthy Law Firm are pleased to be a part of this mega event. Attorney Sheela Murthy will be accompanied by other representatives from the our firm. She will speak at a two-hour session after the inauguration on Friday, July 4th, 2008, from 2pm to 4pm at the Hilton Newark Penn Station, just two blocks from the main exhibits at the Prudential Center. Ms. Murthy will address immigration topics of interest to individuals, businesses, and others. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in learning more about immigration law, or just in meeting valued members of our team.
