The USCIS issued an new update on the Advanced Degree cap count after the MurthyBulletin publication deadline. This update provides the count as of December 9, 2005. As of that date, a total of 17,436 cases had been approved or were pending against the Advanced Degree Cap. This means that 2,564 Advanced Degree numbers remain available for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006. This reflects usage of 369 numbers since the last count on December 5, 2005. Since it is not possible to predict when these numbers will no longer be available, those with potential cases need to act quickly.
