Chennai Requires Web-Based Visa Appointments
Posted Mar 02, 2002

The Law Office of Sheela Murthy would like to remind all MurthyBulletin and MurthyDotCom readers that, as of March 4, 2002 web-based appointments are required for non-immigrant visa appointments at the U.S. Consulate in Chennai. This system has been available on an optional basis since February 13, 2002. We reported this matter in last week's MurthyBulletin article issued February 22, 2002.

As explained previously, this procedure is required for all applicants who are not eligible for the "business express" or "DropBox" procedure. There is no fee for the service. The application is made through <http://www.ttsvisas.com>.
