Community Action Day Postponed
Posted Sep 22, 2001

In the August 31, 2001 issue of the MurthyBulletin, in an article entitled,
Lobby Congress to Restore Justice to Immigration Laws, we mentioned the National Community Action Day scheduled for September 30, 2001 and the Lobby Day for October 4, 2001. The purpose of these programs is to advocate changes in U.S. immigration law, in light of the harsh and punitive provisions that have been in effect since 1996.

In view of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, AILA has postponed the Community Action Day and Lobby Day. When these programs are rescheduled, we will post the information in the
MurthyBulletin and at MurthyDotCom.
