Update on DV-2000 and DV-2001 Visa Lottery Programs Posted Jun 20, 1999 The U.S. Department of State has announced that all winners of the DV-2000 visa lottery have been notified. Those who have not received letters by now apparently have not been selected. The Law Office of Sheela Murthy would like to take the opportunity to remind those who have been selected to take prompt action to apply either for adjustment of status or for consular processing abroad, depending upon their eligibility and their situation. The adjustment or consular processing must be completed by September 30, 2000, at which time the program for this fiscal year expires. Those who would like to have an attorney assist in this process are welcome to send e-mail to our office at law@murthy.com. The application period for the next visa lottery, the DV-2001 program, will be from October 4, 1999 to November 3, 1999.
