The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced on September 9, 2005 that all USCIS district offices will be assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. There are specific points of contact in the following offices for persons with immigration-related questions for hurricane victims.

Dallas District Office
8101 North Stemmons Freeway
Dallas, TX 75247

Contact : Jerry.Sapp@dhs.gov

Houston District Office
126 Northpoint
Houston, TX 77060

Contact : Norma Estimbo Lacy 281.774.5873

San Antonio District Office
8940 Fourwinds Drive
San Antonio, TX 78239

Contact : Jacque Crouse 210.967.7141

Those who have unrelated questions need to go through normal channels. It is very important that these contacts be used ONLY by victims of Hurricane Katrina. Use by others would delay efforts to care for those who are in immediate need of specific help. Many victims lost their documents and/or their basis for remaining in the United States and need assistance as quickly as possible to resolve their immigration matters. Misuse could result in the elimination of this attempt to help these hurricane victims. We appreciate your cooperation and trust that you will share this information with anyone from the hurricane-affected regions needing immigration help from the government.
