Visa Revalidations until July 16, 2004
Posted Jun 25, 2004

The cut-off date for filing a request for visa revalidation or re-issuance with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) is reported to be July 16, 2004. The date that had initially been announced by the DOS was July 6, 2004. Thus, there is a small additional window of time for those eligible for visa revalidation from within the U.S.

It is important to note that requests for visa revalidation must be received by the DOS on or before July 16, 2004. Requests simply postmarked by that date will be returned. We previously reported this issue and the termination of the revalidation program in our May 7, 2004 MurthyBulletin article, Visa Revalidations Could End by September 30, 2004, available on MurthyDotCom. We also posted a NewsFlash reflecting the previously announced July 6, 2004 date on MurthyDotCom.
