March 2006 Visa Bulletin Issued Posted Feb 10, 2006; updated Feb 17, 2006 [Read the follow-up to this NewsFlash in Visa Bulletin : March 2006, posted Feb 17, 2006.] ©MurthyDotCom The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has issued the March 2006 Visa Bulletin. Those categories that are current in February continue to be current in March. Once again, there is some significant forward movement in most of the employment-based (EB) categories with cutoff dates. Even with the forward movement, all of EB3 (except Schedule A) remains significantly backlogged, with cutoff dates between January 2001 and October 2001. The EB2 category for nationals of India and China, while better than EB3, has cutoff dates of January 1, 2002 for India and July 1, 2002 for China.
