| |  Registration Deadlines Posted Feb 21, 2003 The fourth phase of special registration will begin February 24, 2003 and continue through April 25, 2003. This phase of the registration applies to male nationals or citizens of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, and Kuwait who were born on or before February 24, 1987. Special Registration: 5 More Countries & Deadlines Reopened, available on MurthyDotCom. Only nonimmigrants must apply. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are exempt from registration. Additionally, registration is required only for those persons in this particular group who last entered the U.S. on or before September 30, 2002 and who will remain in the U.S. after March 28, 2003. We are pleased to inform MurthyDotCom and MurthyBulletin readers that the original deadline for registration for the third phase of special registration set for today, February 21, 2003, has been extended to March 21, 2003. Special Registration: Phase Three - Armenia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, available on MurthyDotCom. Armenia was later removed from the list of subject countries. The details explaining precisely who must register can be found in that earlier article. There are potentially grave consequences for failure to register, so all deadlines should be taken seriously.
