Consultation Terms and Conditions

A consultation does not establish an attorney / client relationship. Therefore, you do not become a ‘client’ of the Murthy Law Firm merely by having a consultation. It also does not guarantee our office will be able to take your case. The decision is made at the attorney’s discretion during the consultation. More so with cases that have a response deadline.

Should the Murthy Law Firm be hired within thirty (30) days of the consultation a discount of $100 may be applied towards the legal fees of the initial invoice.

To hire the Murthy Law Firm and secure the $100 discount the following must apply:

  • Initial invoice amount must be at least $2,000
  • Legal Representation Agreement signed and returned within thirty (30) days of the consultation
  • Legal fee paid in full upon receipt of invoice from Murthy Law Firm

The attorney assigned to your case may be different from the attorney with whom you consult.

Cancellation Policy

In accordance with our cancellation policy, the charge amount may be credited in full only if you cancel your consultation a minimum of one (1) business day in advance of your scheduled consultation time. Please note that a $100 administrative fee will be deducted from the total amount credited for the cancelled consultation should the consultation not be cancelled a minimum of one (1) business day in advance.

Should a consultation need to be rescheduled and less than one (1) business days’ notice is given, no charge will be applied. If the consultation is rescheduled on two or more occasions, a $100 administrative fee will be deducted from the total amount credited for the rescheduled consultation.

The additional $50 fee charged for emergency consultations is non-refundable.
