Murthy Staff Members Raise Funds for Health

At the Murthy Law Firm, our commitment to helping others runs deep. Our team is bound together by a shared ethos of service, a core value that suffuses all of our work – so it’s no surprise that the same people who take exquisitely good care of our clients are out on the weekends giving their time and energy to worthy causes. Two recent examples follow.

On October 20, Murthy Law Firm paralegal Nikki Belle was joined by six of her MLF colleagues for the Alliance for Lupus Research Walk in Washington D.C., an event to raise money to find a cure for this debilitating autoimmune disorder, which affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans – among them, Nikki Belle’s mother. Nikki and her team raised over $1,600 for lupus research.

Then, on November 11, MLF paralegal Jen Daly and her family participated in the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Race for Research, to honor the memory of her father, whom she lost two years ago to multiple myeloma, a blood cancer that destroys bones and kidneys.

Both groups raised money and awareness to get us that much closer to curing these devastating diseases. This is important work, and we couldn’t be prouder of our colleagues for their public-spiritedness and generosity – it’s in the best tradition of our firm!
