BBJ Sees Murthy Law Firm as One of Top 50 Minority-Owned Businesses

The Murthy Law Firm is among the top 50 minority-owned businesses in the greater Baltimore area, according to a list published by the Baltimore Business Journal in June 2010. The list is part of a special section on minority-owned businesses and includes articles on recent trends and profiles of minority business leaders. Information technology is most heavily represented on the list, and several other companies are involved in construction, architecture, communications, and government contracting. The Murthy Law Firm – ranked number 19 out of 50 major minority-owned businesses – distinguished itself as the only law firm named to the list. The businesses were ranked based on their total 2009 revenue. According to the BBJ, more than 300 companies were surveyed for the list.
