Sheela Murthy Leads Discussion Panels At Women Spanning the Globe Event
04 Jun 2012On May 31st, Murthy Law Firm founder and president, Sheela Murthy, moderated two panels at the World Trade Center Institute’s 6th Annual Women Spanning the Globe Event, a one-day conference for women leaders in international business, held at the American Visionary Arts Museum, Baltimore, MD.
With the warmth and enthusiasm for which she is well known, Murthy hosted two lively and inspirational discussions. The first, Successful Women, Philanthropy and Financial Planning, featured Dr. Christine Fahlund, a Vice President and Senior Financial Planner at T. Rowe Price, and Deborah Foster, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at United Way Worldwide. In Murthy’s second panel, Dr. Jennifer Clinton, President of National Council for International Visitors, and Anne Henderson, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Notre Dame of Maryland University, discussed NextGen Women Leaders on the Global Scene.
It was a great opportunity for rising stars and seasoned professionals alike to network with women leaders in international business, and to learn from their experiences as they shared their stories of struggle and triumph on the road to success. As in years past, the Murthy Law Firm is proud to be a sponsor of this extraordinary gathering.
