MLF Attorney Pam Genise Named to 2012 Leading Women List

We are pleased to announce that Murthy Law Firm Supervising Attorney, Pam Genise, is among the honorees named to The Daily Record‘s 2012 list of Leading Women, and will be feted, along with her fellow honorees, at an awards ceremony on December 6th.

Each year, the Daily Record recognizes 50 women under 40 who have made significant accomplishments during their careers. According to the Daily Record, the honorees are chosen by a panel of judges comprising past winners of the Maryland’s Top 100 Women award. Applicants are rigorously screened based on their educational and career history, and must show examples of mentoring, leadership in career-related organizations, volunteer work in the civic and nonprofit sector, awards and honors, and professional accomplishments. They also need to show “a commitment to inspiring change in their organization or the community.”

Pam has shown professional excellence in her work at the Murthy Law Firm, and in the world beyond, teaching business immigration law at the University of Baltimore Law School, and making presentations on the legal intricacies of immigration. She also has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service, providing pro bono legal assistance to refugees, and sharing her knowledge with immigrant-rights organizations.
