MLF Attorney Retreat: Constant Improvement, Never Standing Still

In a world that’s constantly changing, you can’t afford to get too comfortable, and you can’t afford to stand still. At the Murthy Law Firm (MLF), we work hard to stay ahead of the curve, tracking the latest developments that affect our clients, and maintaining our lead through continuing legal education.

Throughout the year, our attorneys meet once a week to discuss court decisions, emerging issues of law and procedure, and how to respond to the ever-shifting winds of immigration policy. Each autumn, our attorneys come together for their annual retreat, a day to take stock of the past year and to plan for the year ahead. This year’s meeting was held on November 11th, at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD.

Each legal department in our firm – H1B, Green Card, and Special Projects – reported on their successes of the past year, the difficulties they faced, and the strategies they devised to overcome them. Our attorneys shared the fruits of their experience – best practices and lessons learned – as well as their dreams and ambitions for the firm. The focus of these discussions was goal-setting, asking: how can we best serve our clients? What can we do, individually and as a firm, to reach an even higher level of excellence next year?

It’s an important exercise, one that directly benefits our clients. It keeps us focused on the fundamentals: constantly sharpening our legal skills, providing outstanding service, and striving toward higher goals with each new milestone we reach.
