Murthy Law Firm Celebrates the Holidays

It was a night of feasting and good cheer as we at the Murthy Law Firm came together for our annual holiday party at Stevenson University in Owings Mills. It was at once a celebration of the holiday season and a celebration of a job well done – a chance to enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved evening of fun and festivity. It was also a chance to look back with pride and satisfaction on another year of hard work and clients well served.

Murthy Law Firm founder and president, Sheela Murthy, warmly welcomed all of her employees, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for their commitment to the firm’s mission: serving others, and treating our clients the way each of us would like to be treated. Each year, she said, the tireless efforts of our attorneys and staff help hundreds upon hundreds of people to realize their American dream. As Sheela observed, this shared vocation makes all of us not just co-workers, but something more like a family: she calls us the Murthy Law Family. She also noted the staff’s outpouring of generosity towards important causes in our community, and concluded her remarks with a solemn invocation of gratitude to our creator for the many blessings we share.

After a sumptuous dinner buffet, the evening’s entertainment had a distinctly international flair, featuring performances by MLF staffers: a flamenco dance, songs in Russian and Cape Verde creole, and pop and jazz classics performed by our own house band.

For the evening’s grand finale, Sheela donned her Santa hat, calling each person up to the podium for a personal thank you. All in all, it was a wonderful celebration of the season, and very much in the holiday spirit.

Happy Holidays to all of you from all of us at the Murthy Law Firm family!
