MLF Attorneys Murthy, Finkelstein, & Mehta Listed in 2014 Corporate Immigration!

Every year, Who’s Who Legal publishes its annual directory of the world’s top immigration lawyers. Corporate Immigration 2014 was just released, and once again, Murthy Law Firm founder and president, Sheela Murthy, has been named to this highly prestigious listing. She is joined by MLF Managing Attorney / Member, Aron Finkelstein, and Khorzad Mehta, esteemed attorney in the firm’s Green Card Department. [See Who’s Who Legal, Corporate Immigration 2014.]

It’s a distinction achieved by an elite group of immigration practitioners: worldwide, only 510 lawyers made the cut. Not surprisingly, the vetting process is highly selective. As Who’s Who Legal notes, “Nominees have been selected based upon comprehensive, independent survey work with both general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide. Only specialists who have met independent international research criteria are listed.”

The publication’s editors take great pains to safeguard the integrity of the selection process, and make it clear that inclusion in the directory is by invitation only. They note that, “It is not possible to buy entry into any Who’s Who Legal publication,” and that, “the names and contact details of all experts whose nominations are accepted by the editor are listed without charge.” Like any honor worthy of its name, it has to be earned through personal excellence and the good opinions of one’s colleagues and clients. Merit is the only way in.

Corporate Immigration is produced by Law Business Research, Ltd., the London-based strategic research partner of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law. Law Business Research received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2012.
