Murthy Law Firm is Available to Help You, But Best Not to Wait Until the Last Minute!
17 May 2016Since opening our doors more than twenty years ago, the Murthy Law Firm’s attorneys, paralegals, and support staff have been committed to fulfilling the immigration dreams of our clients. Whether you’re a Fortune 500 company who has been relying on us for years to process PERM cases for its employees, or a startup who reached out to us a week ago to help file your first H1B petition, we remain steadfast in our dedication to providing you with the highest level of service for your immigration matters.
As well as representing clients from the beginning of their case filings, such as preparing new L-1 petitions or initiating the labor certification process, the Murthy Law Firm also offers assistance to those who only find they need help much later in the process. For instance, companies often file H1B petitions on their own, and come to us for assistance with responding to requests for evidence (RFEs), and we ordinarily are more than happy to represent them in the matter. But, there are a few things prospective clients should keep in mind.
It is always best to contact us as early in the process as possible. This is especially true for case-types with set deadlines, such as RFEs. Over the years, we at the Murthy Law Firm have encountered potential clients with time-sensitive cases who have procrastinated in contacting us until right before the due-date. In most situations, we still are able to take over representation of the matter, but this is hardly an ideal scenario. What if the legal team determines that, in order to prepare the strongest response possible, the applicant should obtain a particular document from his home country? Or, perhaps the case involves an issue that, from past experience, we have found is best addressed by obtaining an expert opinion letter from an outside agency. A short deadline may mean having to file without including the best evidence or information, reducing one’s chance of a successful outcome.
On rare occasions, when the firm is especially busy, we have found it necessary to temporarily stop accepting cases with short deadlines from those who have not engaged our services before, so we can ensure we have availability for our existing clientele. Over the past twenty-plus years, this has only been necessary a small handful of times. At the Murthy Law Firm, we always ensure we have sufficient resources to offer our existing clients unparalleled legal representation. Whether you opened your first case with us this year, or you and/or your organization have been clients of our firm for years, we will make you our top priority. It is always our goal to offer the same level of care and dedication you expect from the Murthy Law Firm.
