U of B International Law Society

I was invited to speak for the University of Baltimore in Maryland’s International Law Society Career Day program on Monday, April 9, 2007. There were students from the three years of the law school who are considering a career in the field of international law. I discussed how fascinating and wonderful the area of U.S. immigration law is since it allows one to deal with people from many countries, understand the nuances of foreign laws and U.S. law to help them achieve their objective of living and working in this great nation, spoke about my career path and what led me to wanting to work in this field and help people. Before and after the talk many students had questions about the work and how they would like to work in this field too since they now find immigration law fascinating the way I described it to them.
