Is it advisable to travel to Mexico and return without a new visa stamping based on automatic revalidation?

Automatic visa revalidation is used all the time to return from Canada / Mexico. If the requirements are met in terms of holding a valid nonimmigrant status and being eligible to reenter in a valid status, it is usually pretty simple. Of course, there are always travel risks, as one still has to be inspected at the port of entry. (28.Jul.2014)
