I am currently an F-1 student in OPT status and employed full time by a company. Please advise if there are any risks in renewing my F-1 visa while on OPT.

There are always risks when applying for a visa at the consulate. However, students are allowed to travel while on OPT, as long as they don’t violate the unemployment rules and have all the needed documents and proper employment.
