Sheela Murthy is Influential Marylander for 2019 – Inducted into Circle of Influence

It was announced on January 31, 2019, by the Daily Record that Sheela Murthy has been named an Influential Marylander for 2019. This is the third time Murthy has been selected for the honor in the law category, which makes her also a member of the Circle of Influence, with just two other inductees for this year. The awards for both Influential Marylander in Law 2019 and the Circle of Influence will be presented to Murthy at a ceremonial dinner in March.

Fifty-three individuals were selected as 2019 Influential Marylanders. The selection was made by editors of the Daily Record from areas that include: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate, and technology. “This year’s Influential Marylanders demonstrate an impressive record of accomplishment, leadership and vision,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “The Daily Record is pleased to honor them for all they have done, and will continue to do, for Maryland and beyond.”
