NewsFlash! Dec 2011 Visa Bulletin Has Mar 15, 2008 EB2 Cutoff

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) Visa Bulletin for December 2011 has been released. The cutoff date for the employment-based, second preference (EB2) category for India and China will be March 15, 2008 in the month of December 2011. This advancement is even better than the projected cutoff date of March 1, 2008 previously announced by the DOS. This advancement will allow many additional individuals to move forward toward the completion of the long process of permanent residence. The cutoff date for the employment-based, second preference (EB2) category for India and China is expected to advance to at least March 1, 2008 in the December 2011 Visa Bulletin. This prediction is reliable, as we received it directly from Mr. Charles Oppenheim, Chief, Immigrant Visa and Control Division, U.S. Department of State. The continued forward movement will allow for many additional individuals to pursue the final stage of their permanent residence (green card) cases in December 2011.
