DOS Issues New EB2 Cutoff Projection

The Department of State (DOS) has advised that the EB2 India and China category will retrogress to August 15, 2007 in the May 2012 Visa Bulletin. Charles Oppenheim, Chief, Visa Control and Reporting, has provided this information to AILA.

The EB2 cutoff set in the April 2012 Visa Bulletin, which is May 1, 2010, is not changed by Mr. Oppenheim’s announcement. The changes will occur in the May Visa Bulletin. We at the Murthy Law Firm will provide our readers with further analysis in an upcoming NewsBrief.
