USCIS Unveils Redesigned WebSite

On October 30, 2013, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) revealed its redesigned website to the general public. The site’s web address, www.uscis.gov, remains unchanged, but the content has been rearranged with an eye on simplifying the user’s online experience.

Easier Navigation

In conjunction with the release of this redesigned site, the USCIS issued a press release, noting that the new homepage sports “…a more prominent rotating banner that highlights timely information and introduces alerts that provide important news and other customer notifications…” The press release also promises that the menus are now easier to navigate, and that the search bar has been upgraded.

More Changes to Come

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) expects to make more changes to the agency’s websites in the near future. There is a wealth of information available on the USCIS WebSite. We appreciate the efforts to make those valuable resources even easier to locate. Subscribe to the MurthyBulletin for future updates on this and other immigration-related topics.
