How long must one wait between visits to the U.S. on a visitor visa?
14 Dec 2015Answer
There isn’t a specific rule. It is a case-specific judgment call at the port of entry where the officer may take into consideration various factors, including duration and frequency of previous visits. Typically, the recommendation is to wait at least six months abroad following a six-month stay in the U.S. But, there could be reasons for variations. The issue is whether the person is really just visiting temporarily. (14.Dec.2015)
