NewsFlash! EB2 India and China Continue to Advance in June Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) released the June 2015 Visa Bulletin this afternoon. The employment-based, second preference (EB2) category for people born in India and China continues to move forward as predicted. EB2 India advances by 5 1/2 months, to October 1, 2008. EB2 China pushes ahead by a full year, to June 1, 2013. Meanwhile, the employment-based, third preference (EB3) category for people born in China moves forward to September 1, 2011. EB3 India, on the other hand, sees another anemic advancement of only one week, with a new cutoff date of January 22, 2004. And, EB3 Philippines continues to retrogress, with a January 1, 2005 cutoff date in the upcoming visa bulletin.
