My company has initiated an L1B blanket visa application for me, but I have been on approved leave of absence for the past 3 months. How important are the paychecks for the visa interview?

To qualify for L-1, one would need to prove employment with the foreign company in a qualifying position for one continuous year out of the prior three years. A 3-month gap in employment would not prevent this, but the consulate might expect an explanation for the gap in employment. (22.May.2017)
