New Rules for F-1 and M-1 Students Taking Online Classes

On Monday, July 6, 2020, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program announced modifications to the rules applicable for F-1 and M-1 students taking online classes. The modifications are effective from the fall 2020 semester. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security will publish a Temporary Final Rule in the Federal Register.
