DHS Extends Employers’ Ability to Review I-9 Documents Remotely

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced an extension of its temporary policy that allows employers’ ability to review employee documents remotely for form I-9 purposes. This policy is now scheduled to expire on July 19, 2020.
