NewsFlash! September 2015 Visa Bulletin: EB2 Retrogresses, EB3 Advances for India

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) Visa Bulletin for September 2015  contains significant changes for Indian nationals. There is favorable news in the employment-based, third preference (EB3) category for India. The cutoff date for EB3 advances by more than six months, to December 22, 2004. Conversely, the employment-based, second preference (EB2) category retrogresses to a cutoff date of January 1, 2006.

The August 2015 Visa Bulletin continues to apply throughout August 2015. The September Visa Bulletin cutoff dates are effective for the month of September. More information on these developments will be available on MurthyDotCom in the near future.
