NewsFlash! USCIS Reinstates Premium Processing for FY2018 Cap-Subject H1B Petitions

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that it has resumed premium-processing service for H1B petitions selected under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 cap. This announcement includes those cases filed as part of the 20,000 master’s cap. The reinstatement of the premium processing service applies only to pending cap-subject petitions, certain cap exempt employers and physicians under the Conrad 30 program. All other types of H1B filings are not currently eligible for premium processing, however the announcement confirms that the USCIS plans to resume premium processing for the remaining types of cases in the coming months.
