March 2020 Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has released the March 2020 Visa Bulletin. All cutoff dates listed refer to the dates in the final action (FA) chart, unless otherwise specified.

Visa Bulletin Summary

Employment Based, 1st Category (EB1)

The cutoff date for EB1 China moves slightly forward to June 01, 2017. For India, the final action date advances to March 01, 2015. EB1 for all other countries of chargeability moves ahead to March 01, 2019.

Employment Based, 2nd Category (EB2)

The EB2 category remains current for all countries of chargeability except India and China. EB2 China moves forward to August 15, 2015. EB2 India inches forward by a few days to May 22, 2009.

Employment Based, 3rd Category for China and India (EB3 China/India)

EB3 China moves forward to March 22, 2016. EB3 India advances by one week to January 15, 2009. Meanwhile, the EB3 cutoff date retrogresses for all other countries of chargeability to January 01, 2017.

Employment Based, EB3 Category for Other Workers (EB3 Other)

With the exception of China, the cutoff dates for EB3 other workers are the same for each country as its respective EB3 cutoff date. For China, the cutoff date for EB3 other workers progresses to June 01, 2008.

Employment Based, 4th Category (EB4)

The EB4 cutoff date for El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras moves forward to July 15, 2016. EB4 Mexico advances to November 15, 2017. This category remains current for all other countries of chargeability.

Employment Based, 5th Category (EB5)

The EB5 category remains current for all countries of chargeability except China, India, and Vietnam. For China, the cutoff date moves forward to May 15, 2015. EB5 India moves ahead to October 22, 2018. For Vietnam, the EB5 cutoff date moves to January 15, 2017.
