I am in the process of applying for STEM OPT. I would like to continue working for my employer …

… but I have two more offers from other companies that want me to work part time on projects for them (no more than 10-15 hours per week). Can I accept their offers while continuing my current full-time employment?

Answer

Under the current STEM OPT rules, while you can work for multiple employers during STEM OPT, you are not allowed to work fewer than 20 hours per week for each employer. Therefore, working for three employers concurrently, while maintaining the lowest required number of hours, would require that you work a minimum of 60 hours per week, even if you reduce your current employment to part time.
