The expiration date of your visa is not the issue; you can continue to use the visa until it expires. However, the passport end date is crucial in determining how long you are able to remain in the U.S. Your passport must be valid for at least as long as the requested period, and for individuals from some countries it may need to be valid for 6 months beyond that as well.
