Ombudsman’s Office Hosting Teleconference on H1B Enforcement

On July 2, 2019, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman is putting on a teleconference related to H1B enforcement issues. The following topics will be covered during the teleconference:

• Compliance and systematic review of H1B petitions to ensure the integrity of the immigration benefits system
• Wage and hour laws for H1B nonimmigrant workers and the complaint process
• H1B investigations and interagency activity
• Noncompliance, fraud and reporting fraud

At the end of the teleconference, stakeholders will be given the opportunity to ask questions regarding H1B enforcement. Instructions on signing up for the teleconference are available online.
