H1B Cap Likely Reached for FY2023

Over the weekend, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) began sending out non-selection notices for registrations not selected in the first – and apparently only – lottery for fiscal year 2023 (FY2023). As of the time of this writing, the USCIS has not officially announced that a second lottery will not be necessary for the upcoming fiscal year. However, based on these non-selection notifications, it seems highly likely that such an announcement is forthcoming.
