NewsFlash! USCIS to Conduct Second Lottery for H1B Cap Cases

Today, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that a second lottery soon will be held for fiscal year 2024. The USCIS will select additional H1B registrations randomly from those submitted in March 2023.

As with the first lottery, those with selected registrations will have their myUSCIS accounts updated to include a selection notice. No details were provided regarding how many additional registrations will be selected, or precisely when the second lottery will take place.
