Can we travel to the U.S. right now from India on a B-1/B-2 visa? Or is this not allowed because of COVID?

Answer

There are no specific travel prohibitions related to requesting admission in B-1/B-2 status; nor are there any specific restrictions related to travel from India. If a person shows signs of illness, such as a fever, they may be denied admission. And, as with all travel on B-1/B-2, the CBP officer at the port of entry has discretion as to whether to admit the person. (03.Sep.2020)
