CBP Releases Updated Info and FAQs on Travel Ban

This afternoon, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) posted to its website updated information on President Trump’s January 27, 2017 executive order, entitled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States. This executive order instituted a temporary travel ban on nationals from seven countries – Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and Somalia. The new CBP webpage provides some background on the executive order, and includes a question-and-answer section that clarifies a number of key points regarding how the program is being implemented.
