Is it true that the dropbox option at the U.S. Consulate in Chennai is still available?

We have received confirmation from the Department of State that the drop box program is still in place and being used in Chennai (and elsewhere). If the program is changed in the future there will likely be an announcement made on ustraveldocs.com. And, of course, we will post the information on MurthyDotCom. (06.Feb.2017)
