Is it possible that the U.S. will be implementing new travel restrictions for people coming from India?

Given the huge spike in COVID-19 cases in India, it definitely is possible new travel restrictions will be implemented. As of yet, no such restrictions have been announced, other than the requirement that travelers present a recent negative COVID-19 test before boarding a plane to the U.S. But it would not be surprising to see additional measures enacted if the situation does not improve soon.  (29.Apr.2021)
